About Our Storage Facility

Lock Safe Self Storage is a brand new self storage facility in Independence, Iowa. We are conveniently located next to Iowa Transmission, Goodwill, and right down the road from Walmart. Lock Safe Self Storage will be able to be seen right off of Highway 20, next to Exit 254.

Lock Safe Self Storage is excited to provide a wide variety of storage rental unit sizes, all at competitive prices, which include:

10' x 5' Storage Units
10' x 10' Storage Units
10' x 15' Storage Units
10' x 20' Storage Units
10' x 30' Storage Units

The storage unit floors will be built on a concrete water vapor barrier to keep moisture out of the floors, as well as, a Drip X condensation barrier installed under the steel roof to keep all your things dry from top to bottom.

For your security, safety, and convenience, our storage rental facility will have 32 LED lights placed throughout and will be open 24/7/365.

What is the duration of your storage unit rental lease?

We rent our storage units on a month to month contract.

Do you accept credit card payments?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards and you have the option to automatically withdraw your payment each month if you wish. We also accept cash, money orders and checks.

Do we need insurance for our belongings in the storage units?

While it is not required, we highly recommended that you do so. We do not insure your personal items in the storage unit should they become damaged or stolen.

Are lights or power available to the storage units?

No, there are no available outlets or power to the storage units.

Do you provide locks for the storage units?

No, we do not provide locks for the storage units. It is the renters responsibly to purchase a lock for the unit. We do, however, recommend using the "disc" type locks for maximum security.

Do I have 24 hour access to my storage unit?

Yes. You are able to access your storage unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
